1977-727RESOLUTIO NO. 77R -727 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TEE CITY OF ANAHEIM FINNDING AHD DETERMINING THAT A CHANGE OF ZONE SHOULD NOT BE GRANTED IN A CERTAIN AREA OF THE CITY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED. WHEREAS, the City Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim has heretofore duly passed and adopted a resolution declar- ing its intention to change the boundaries of the zone or zones hereinafter mentioned and described, and did fix a time and place for the holding of a public hearing thereon in the manner and as prescribed in Title 13 of the Anaheim Municipal Code, and did duly hold and conduct such public hearing to consider said proposed change of zone or zones, and did receive evidence and reports from persons interested therein; and WEEREAS, thereafter, within the time prescribed by law, an interested party or the City Council, on its own motion, caused the review of said Planning Commission action at a Public hearing noticed and held as provided in Title 13 of the Anaheim Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed for said public hearing, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such hearing and did give all persons interested therein an opportunity to be heard and did receive evidence and reports, and did consider the same; and WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that the property and area :proposed to be changed from the zone or zones in which it is now situated to a different zone or zones, as here- inafter set forth, is more suitable for the zone or zones in which it is now incorporated, and that a change of zone should not be granted. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Anaheim that all of the property and area situated in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California, described as follows, to wit: Parcel 1: The South 314.74 feet, measured from the centerline of the street, of Lot 9 of "Orangewood Tract as shown on a map recorded in book 7, page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County, California. Excepting therefrom the West 232 feet, measured from the centerline of the street. Parcel II: The South 220 feet, measured from the centerline of the street, of Lot 10 of "Orangewood Tract" as shown on a map recorded in book 7, page 42 of Miscellaneous Maps, records of Orange County California. Excepting therefrom the Easterly 495 feet, remain in "RS-A-43,000" RESIDENTIAL/AGRICULTURAL ZONE in which it is now incorporated and that the reclassification to "RM-1200" RESIDENTIAL, MULTIPLE-FAI4ILY ZONE be denied and that the action of the Planning Commission in its Resolution No. PC77-194 be reversed. THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this $th day of November, 1977.
