RESOLUTION NO. 77R -723
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
EASEMENT DEED FROM THE CITY OF ANAHEIM TO
THE ORANGE COUNTY FLOOD CONTROL DISTRICT,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID DEED.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has transferred the Walnut
Canyon Storm Channel from Santa Ana Canyon Road to the Riverside
Freeway to the Orange County Flood Control District; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to transfer a further portion
of the storm channel from the Anaheim Hills Golf Course to Santa
Ana Canyon Road; and
WHEREAS, a portion of the right of way for said storm
channel is owned by Texaco Anaheim Hills, Inc., a Delaware Cor-
poration; Santa Anita Development Corporation, a California Cor-
poration; and Rovi Pacific Realty Corporation, a Corporation, who
have already executed the Easement Deed; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to grant
said Easement Deed to the Orange County Flood Control District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby approve a transfer of that
certain portion of real property from Anaheim Hills Golf Course to
the Santa Ana Canyon Road of the Walnut Storm Channel, more parti-
cularly described in the Easement Deed approved this date.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
are authorized to execute said Easement Deed for and on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 8th day of November
1977.
