1977-709WEEREAS, by Agreement entitled Yorba Regional Park Agree-
ment dated September 30, 1975, the City of Anaheim, the County of
Orange ("County"), and the Orange County Harbor, Beaches and Parks
District ("District") did agree to cooperate in the development of
Yorba Regional Park; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Paragraph I:: of said Agreement, City
did agree to convey an easement for equestrian riding, hiking anu
bicycling to District across certain City-owned property ("Shorb
Wells Property") located easterly of said Yorba Regional Park; and
WHEREAS, a corporation easement deed has been prepared
whereby the City of Anaheim does grant to District an easement for
equestrian riding, hiking and bicycle trails across the Shorb Wells
Property; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City of
Anaheim to convey said easement to District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute
said corporation easement deed on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
