A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIT!. APPROVING THE ACCEPTANCE OF FUNDS
PURSUANT TO AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY HANAGER
TO EXECUTE TEE AGRE=ENT ON BEHALF OF CITY
OF ANAHEEI.
W=REAS, the City of Anaheizt, through its Parks, Recreation
and Arts Department and Community Development Department, is proposing
to offer expanded recreational and social services and programs for
the Citv's Downtown Drop In Center; and.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange, pursuant to Revenue Sharing
Program, has authorized and established a Social Program Fund to pro-
vide grant funds to local agencies to develop and promote social and
human services; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anahei'm desires to accept funds from
the County of Orange Revenue Sharing Social Program Fund in the amount
of $21,923 to offer the aforesaid programs and services.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Anaheim does hereby approve the acceptance of funds fro)q the
County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City ilanager of the City of
Anaheim be, and he is hereby, authorized as agent of the City to con-
duct all negotiations, execute and submit all documents including, but
not limited to, .applications, agreements, amendments and assrances
which may be•necessary to obtain said funds and complete said oroject.
