1977-693WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is legally obligated to
pay for employees' meals under certain circumstances pursuant
to Article 16 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical
Workers (I.B.E.W.) Memorandum of Understanding of October 14,
1977; and
WHEREAS, said Article 16 outlines the eligibility
requirements for the payment for meals by the City of Anaheim;
and
WHEREAS, the City is in need of a special account
from which payments for such meals may be made pursuant to said
Article 16.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby authorize the establishment
of an account entitled the "Meal Reimbursement Account" for
the purpose of paying for employees' meals in those circum-
stances outlined in Article 16 of the I.B.E.W. Memorandum of
Understanding of October 14, 1977.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director and
the City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed
to sign such documents as may be necessary to cause the estab-
lishment of the account contemplated hereby.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that checks or warrants drawn
against said account are to be signed by the Finance Director,
the Utilities Director, Assistant Utilities Director, Utilities
Management Services Manager, or the Utilities Field Superin-
tendent of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 25th day of October,
1977.
