1979-224ESOLUTION NO. 79R- 224
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING FILING OF AN APPLICA-
TION FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE DEFERRED PAY
MENT LOAN PROGRAM WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OF THE STATE
OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has many residential struc-
tures in need of rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, the State of California has enacted Chapter 6.5
of the Health and Safety Code, commencing at Section 50660, which
authorizes a program of housing rehabilitation with repayments by
housing owners deferred for specified periods; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has caused an application
for participation in said program to be prepared.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby approve the filing of
said application with the Department of Housing and Community
Development of the State of California.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor be, and he is
hereby, authorized and directed to sign said application on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 24th day of April, 1979.
