A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERI THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A PORTION OF OLD JEFFERSON ROAD.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly posted and Published, give notice of its in-
tention to vacate and abandon the public street or alley herein-
after described; and
WHEREAS, on the 10th day of April, 1979, a public hear
ing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence con-
cerning said proposed vacation and abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find, from the evidence submitted, that the Public street or
alley hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for pre-
sent or prospective public street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council does determine that the public
convenience and necessity require the reservation and exception of
the easement and right of way hereinafter specifically described.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and aban-
donment of a portion of Old Jefferson Road, more specifically
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the centerlines of
La Palma Avenue and Tustin Avenue as shown on a map
recorded in Book 58, page 42, Parcel Maps, in the
office of the County Recorder of Orange County; thence
S 2 16' 30" W, 531.20 feet along the centerline of
aistin Avenue; thence S 83° 27' 00" E, 60.00 feet;
thence S 2 16' 30" W, 157.82 feet; thence S 2 30'
32" W, 117.62 feet; thence S 6° 12' 40" W, 105.90 feet;
thence S 8 41' 35" W, 103.77 feet; thence S 9° 50' 27"
W, 162.65 feet to the true point of beginning; thence
S 02 16' 30" W, 144.97 feet; thence ,,1 88° 27' 00" W,
20.00 feet; thence 9° 50' 27" E, 146.09 feet to the
true point of beginning.
Reserving to the City of Anaheim over, under, and across
said street, an easement for public utility purposes in-
cluding, but not limited to, electrical power poles and
lines, drainage and water line purposes.
EE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified cony of
this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the
City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTIOIN1 is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day of April, 1979.
