RESOLUTION NO. 79R -191
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO.
78R -569 PERTAINING TO THE USE OF STRAY
ANIMALS FOR RESEARCH PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
did adopt its Resolution No. 73R -569 on the 29th day of
August, 1978 opposing the use of stray animals for research
purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now finds that said
resolution does not fully reflect the intention of the City
Council upon which said action was taken; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be
in the best interest of the City to rescind Resolution
No. 78R -569.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution
No. 78R -569 adopted on the 29th day of August, 1978 be, and
the same is, hereby rescinded.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 3rd day of
April, 1979.
