A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA, REQUESTING THE COY
MENCEMENT OF PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION
OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED
AS ANAHEIM HILLS ANNEXATION NO. 28.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to annex into its
boundaries certain unincorporated and uninhabited territory as
hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, said City desires to extend the full range of
municipal services to said territory in order to better serve the
needs of said property and its owners; and
WHEREAS, said City desires this resolution to be deemed
a resolution of application proposing a change of organization
pursuant to Sections 35140 and 35110 of the Government Code of
the State of California.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim as follows:
1. That the within proposal is made pursuant to the
Municipal Organization Act of 1977 as set forth in Title 4,
Division 2, Part 2 of the Government Code of the State of
California.
2. That the nature of the proposed change of organization
is for the annexation of the hereinafter described 9.76 acres of
unincorporated and uninhabited territory to the City of Anaheim.
3. That said unincorporated and uninhabited territory be,
and the same is hereby, designated as "Anaheim Hills Annexation
No. 28" to the City of Anaheim, and the boundaries of said affec-
ted territory are legally described as follows:
That portion of Section 11, Township 4 South, Range
9 West, Rancho Santiago de Santa Ana, in the County
of Orange, State of California, described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the present boundary line of
the City of Anaheim as established by Anaheim Hills No.
26 Annexation to the City of Anaheim, said point being
North 72 24' 27" East, 220.00 feet from the South-
westerly terminus of the line designated as "South
72° 24' 30" West, 1176.69 feet" in said No. 26 Annex-
ation, said point also being North 56 18' 55" East,
2932.49 feet from the Southwest corner of said Section
11; thence along the existing boundary line of the
City of Anaheim as created by said "No. 26 Annexation
"Anaheim Hills No. 18 Annexation" and "Anaheim Hills
No. 22 Annexation" through its various courses in a

general Easterly and Southeasterly direction to that
certain course in the Southeasterly line of Parcel 1
of the right -of -way easement to the Southern Califor-
nia Edison Company recorded December 23, 1968 as
Instrument No. 15163 in Book 8824, Page 19, Official
Records of said County, described therein as "South
72 24' 27" West, 2206.65 feet, more or less thence
leaving said existing boundary line of the City of
Anaheim South 72 24' 27" West along said Southeast-
erly line 1441.38 feet to a line that bears South 17
35' 33" East from the Point of Beginning; thence along
said line North 17° 35' 33" West, 300.00 feet to the
Point of Beginning.
A map showing the aforesaid boundaries and designated "Anaheim
Hills No. 28 Annexation to the City of Anaheim" is submitted con-
currently with and accompanies this Resolution.
4. That the reasons for the proposed change of organization
are as follows:
a. Requests by the owners of said unincorporated ter-
ritory for annexation to the City of Anaheim; and
b. To provide full municipal services to an unincor-
porated area that is remote from County service facilities and
thereby increase the economy and efficiency of urban services.
5. That the City of Anaheim is hereby designated as the
chief petitioner with regard to this application and the mailing
address of said petitioner is as follows:

6. That the City of Anaheim does hereby reauest that
annexation proceedings be taken and commenced for a change of
organization in connection with the hereinabove described unin-
corporated territory pursuant to the provisions of said Municipal
Organization Act of 1977.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 3rd ay o April, 1979.
