A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE
PALO VERDE NUCLEAR GENERATING STATION
REPLICATION AGREEMENT OF FEBRUARY 1, 1978, AND
AUTHORIZING THE PUBLIC UTILITIES GENERAL MANAGER
TO EXECUTE SAID AMENDMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has previously
entered into that certain Palo Verde Nuclear Generating
Station Replication Agreement dated February 1, 1978, here-
inafter referred to as "Agreement;" and
WHEREAS, the Parties desire to amend the Agreement
to extend its termination date and modify the cost responsi-
bilities of the parties thereto; and
WHEREAS, Amendment No. 1 has been prepared, the
terms and conditions of which are acceptable to the City
Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Amendment No. 1 are hereby approved and
accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Utilities
General Manager be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed
to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th day of
March 1979.
