A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHELN ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN FRONTAGE ROAD CONTIGUOUS
TO ANAHEIM BOULEVARD, SOUTH OF CERRITOS AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly posted and published, give notice of its in-
tention to vacate and abandon the public street or alley herein-
after described; and
WHEREAS, on the 13th day of March, 1979, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation and abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find, from the evidence submitted, that the public street or
alley hereinafter specifically described is unnecessary for pres-
ent or prospective public street purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and aban-
donment of that certain frontage road contiguous to Anaheim
Boulevard, south of Cerritos Avenue, more specifically described
as follows:
Parcel 6, as shown on a map filed in Book 4, pages 5
through 11 of State Highway Maps, Records of said
Orange County.
EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying easterly of
the following described line:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the centerlines of
Anaheim Boulevard and Cerritos Avenue; thence South
83 56' 35" West 53.00 feet to a line parallel with
and distant westerly, measured at right angles,
53.00 feet from said centerline of Anaheim Boulevard,
said point being the true Point of beginning; thence,
along said parallel line, South 06 03' 25" East
92.84 feet to the Beginning of a tangent curve con-
cave westerly and having a radius of 1947.00 feet;
thence southerly 188.92 feet along said curve through
a central angle of 05° 33' 34" to the beginning of a
compound curve concave westerly and having a radius
of 555.00 feet, a radial line to the point of com-
pound curvature bears North 89° 30' 09" East; thence
southerly 81.70 feet along said curve through a cen-
tral angle of 08 26' 03 more or less, to the
easterly line of the aforesaid Parcel 6.
ATTEST:
Reserving therefrom all abutters rights of access
from said parcel as above described to Anaheim
Boulevard.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the
City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th da of March, 1979.
