A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AND THE STATE PERSONNEL BOARD, RELATING
TO TECHNICAL PERSONNEL SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXECUTION THEREOF BY THE HUMAN RESOURCES
DIRECTOR AND RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 79R -68.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim at times requires the additional
services of specialists with knowledge and expertise in the area of tech-
nical personnel services; and
WHEREAS, the State Personnel Board's Cooperative Personnel
Services Division is qualified and willing to provide said specialized
services; and
WHEREAS, a form of Contract has been submitted to the City Council
by the State Personnel Board providing for said technical personnel Services;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds that it would
be for the benefit and in the best interests of the City of Anaheim to approve
the proposed Contract with the State Personnel Board, providing for said
technical personnel services and that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Anaheim that the Contract this day submitted to the City Council be made
and entered into between the City of Anaheim and the State Personnel Board
providing for technical personnel services upon the terms and conditions
set forth in said Contract be, and the same is hereby, approved, and that
Resolution No. 79R -68 be, and the same is hereby, rescinded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Garry McRae, Human Resources Director
be, and is hereby, authorized and directed to enter into and execute said
Contract between the City of Anaheim and the State Personnel Board for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim this 6th day of March 1979.
