A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM^ ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON
MENT OF CERTAIN PUBLIC ALLEYS IN THE BLOCK
BOUNDED BY ANAHEIM BOULEVARD, LINCOLN AVENUE,
PHILADELPHIA STREET AND BROADWAY.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim did,
by resolution duly posted and Published, give notice of its in-
tention to vacate and abandon the public alleys hereinafter de-
scribed; and
WHEREAS, on the 27th day of February, 1979, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerning said proposed vacation and abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find, from the evidence submitted, that the public alleys here-
inafter specifically described are unnecessary for present or
prospective public alley purposes.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and aban-
donment of certain public alleys, more specifically described as
follows:
Those certain Public alleys lying within Block A
and Block B of the Center Tract, as shown on a map
recorded in Book 14, page 13, Miscellaneous Records
of Los Angeles County, and within the Resubdivision
of the northerly part of Block A of the Center Tract,
as per map recorded in Book 3, page 22, Miscellaneous
Maps, Records of Orange County, located in the City
of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of California,
described as follows:
Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 23 in Block
B of said Center Tract; thence Westerly 330.33 feet
along the northerly lines of said Lot 23 and the
northerly lines of Lots 24 through 29 all of said
Center Tract to the northwesterly corner of said Lot
29; thence Westerly 60 feet along the westerly pro-
longation of the northerly line of said Lot 29 to
the northeast corner of Lot 23 in Block A of said
Center Tract; thence Westerly 155 feet along the
northerly line of said Lot 23 in said Block A and the
northerly lines of Lots 24 and 25 of said Block A to
the northwesterly corner of said Lot 25; thence South-
erly 135 feet along the west line of said Lot 25 to
the southwest corner of said Lot 25; thence Westerly
along a line parallel with and 58.25 feet northerly
of the centerline of Broadway Street, a distance of

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and she
is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of
this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of the
City of Anaheim, to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 27th ay of February,
1979.
ATTEST:

Lot 26 in Block A of said Center Tract; thence North-
erly along the easterly line of said Lot 26 and the
easterly lines of Lots 27 through 40, a distance of
375 feet, more or less, to the northeasterly corner
of Lot 40 in said Block A of the Center Tract, said
northeasterly corner also being the southeasterly
corner of Lot 13 of the Resubdivision of Block A, as
shown on the aforementioned map; thence Northerly
along the easterly lines of said Lot 13 and Lots 12,
11 and 10 and a portion of the easterly line of Lot
9, all of said Resubdivision of said Block A, a dis-
tance of 201.50 feet, more or less, to an intersec-
tion with the north line of the southerly 25 feet of
said Lot 9; thence Easterly along the north line of
the south 25 feet of said Lot 9 and the easterly pro
longation thereof to an intersection with a line par-
allel with and 10 feet easterly of the east line of
said Lot 9; thence Southerly along said parallel line
a distance of 421 feet, more or less, to an intersec-
tion with the westerly prolongation of the south line
of Lot 22 in said Block A; thence Easterly along said
prolongation and the south line of said Lot 22, a
distance of 160 feet to the southeast corner of Lot
22 in said Block A of the Center Tract; thence East-
erly 60 feet along the easterly prolongation of the
southerly line of Lot 22 in said Block A of the Center
Tract to the southwest corner of Lot 30 in Block B of
said Center Tract; thence Easterly along the south
line of said Lot 30 the easterly prolongation of the
south line of said Lot 30 and along the south line of
Lot 22 in said Block B of the Center Tract, a distance
of 310 feet to the southwest corner of said Lot 2.2;
thence Southerly along a line parallel with and 30
feet westerly of the centerline of Philadelphia Street,
a distance of 20 feet to the point of beginning.
