RESOLUTION NO. 79R- 89
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS CONDITIONS
OF AN ADDENDUM TO THE JOINT POWERS AGREEMENT
WITH THE CITIES OF GARDEN GROVE ORANGE IN
CONNECTION WITH A FIRE TRAINING FACILITY
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID ADDENDUM ON BEHALF OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the Cities of Anaheim, Garden Grove, and
Orange entered into a Joint Powers Agreement dated October 5,
1976, for construction, operation, and maintenance of a fire
training facility for their mutual advantage and concern;
and
WHEREAS, the parties to said Agreement desire to
amend said Agreement; and
WHEREAS, an addendum has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are acceptable to the City Council
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Addendum are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th day
of February 197 9.
