A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE
AND ABANDON CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENTS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Service Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq., Government
Code) in connection with vacation and abandonment of public
service easements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to
vacate, abandon, and close to public use the following described
public service easements, to wit:
Portion 1. The southerly 13 feet of that certain public
utility easement extending from West Street to the westerly
line of the Santa Ana Freeway located approximately 750 feet
north of Bali Road; and
Portion 2. The portion of the northerly five feet of
the southerly 18 feet of that certain public utility ease-
ment extending from West Street to the westerly line of
the Santa Ana Freeway located approximately 750 feet north
of Ball Road, more than 20 feet above the surface of the
ground. (It is the intention of the abandonment of this
Portion 2 to reserve to the City of Anaheim that portion
of the easement for public utility purposes below the
surface of the ground and, in addition, within the area
extending from the surface of the ground to a point 20
feet above the surface),
as said easements are shown on a map or plan on file in the Office
of the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in
or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at
a public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock p.m., or as soon
thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers
in the City Hall, 204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on:
February 27, 1979
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circu-
lation, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th days f February, 1979.
