1979-077WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
hereby elect to proceed under the provisions of the Street
Vacation Act of 1941 (Section 8310 et seq., Streets and Highway
Code) in connection with requests for vacation and abandonment
of public streets located within the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby declare its intention to
vacate, abandon and close to public use the following described
alleys, to wit:
1. That certain public alley, located approximately
155 feet east of Anaheim Boulevard, extending
northerly from Broadway to a point approximately
576 feet northerly thereof; and
2. That certain public alley, located approximately
135 feet north of Broadway, extending from the
west line of Philadelphia Street to a point ap-
proximately 555 feet westerly thereof,
as said alleys are shown on a map or plan on file in the Office of
the City Clerk of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all persons interested in
or objecting to said vacation and abandonment will be heard at a
public hearing to be held at 3:00 o'clock P.!`?., or as soon there-
after as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chamber in the
City Hall, 204 East Lincoln Avenue, Anaheim, California, on:
February 27, 1979
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall certify
to the passage of this resolution and shall cause the same to be
published in the Anaheim Bulletin, a newspaper of general circula-
tion, printed, published and circulated in said City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTIO? is approved and adopted by the
