A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement
to wit:
Those certain public utility easements located in
the City of Anaheim, County of Orange, State of
California, described as follows:
PARCEL ONE
Those two 5 -foot wide public utility easements lying
parallel with and 5 feet northerly of and 5 feet
southerly of the northerly and southerly right of
way line of Ridge Gate Road, 54 feet wide, as shown
on the map of said Tract No. 8418.
PARCEL TWO
That certain 15 -foot wide easement for drainage pur-
poses lying within Lots 64 and 65 and through the
dedicated street, known as Ridge Gate Road, in Tract
No. 8418 all as shown on the map of said Tract re-
corded in Book 10, pages 10 through 13, Miscellaneous
Maps, records of. said Orange County; and
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of August, 1978, a public hearing
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
N0W, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th of February
1979.
