A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
79R -41 TO EXTEND THE BID DATE FOR
THE PEARSON PARK POOL CONSTRUCTION,
ACCOUNT NO. 16- 808 -7105- 00001.
WHEREAS, it has been called to the attention of
the City Council that a limited response to bids has been
received on the Pearson Park Pool Construction; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has requested an
extension of time for the opening of said bids so that
contractors may prepare more accurate and detailed bids;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would
be for the benefit and in the best interests of the City
to extend the bid date and award date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim that Resolution No. 79R -41,
approved on the 16th day of January, 1979, be and the same
is hereby amended to the following extent only:
1. That the opening of the bids shall
be on the 22nd day of February, 1979.
2. That the award of the contract shall
be on the 6th day of March, 1979.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except as herein
above amended, said Resolution No. 79R -41 shell remain in
full force and effect.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th day of
February, 1979.
