A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF CERTAIN
CITY -OWNED PROPERTY TO RIC DEVELOPMENT CO.,
INC.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of an interest
in certain real property located west of Fairmont Boulevard and
formerly known as Santa Ana Canyon Road as more particularly de-
scribed on Exhibit "A," attached hereto and incorporated herein
by this reference as if set forth in full (hereinafter "property
and
WHEREAS, Ric Development Co., Inc. has offered to pur-
chase the City's interest in said property, including the abandon-
ment of said property for public roadway purposes by the City, for
the sum of $6,750.00; and
WHEREAS, said property is no longer needed for public
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim hereby accepts said
offer and approves the sale of its interest, if any, in said prop-
erty to Ric Development Co., Inc. for the sum of $6,750.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized to execute a quitclaim deed for
the conveyance of the City's interest, if any, in said property
upon the completion of abandonment proceedings as hereinafter
provided.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Engineer is hereby
authorized and directed to commence proceedings for the abandonment
of the public right -of -way in said property upon the receipt of the
sum of $6,750.00 by the City.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 16th day of January
1979.
