1979-025A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
AND THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA FOR THE TEMPORARY
ASSIGNMENT OF A CITY EMPLOYEE AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID
AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of the State of
California to obtain the temporary full time service of a certain
employee of the City of Anaheim to work with the California
Conservation Corps; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to assign, transfer
and detail said City employee to the State for a limited period of
time; and
WHEREAS, such temporary assignment will increase said
employee's knowledge and skills which will be beneficial to the
City when he returns to City service; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement
between the City of Anaheim and the State of California for the
temporary assignment of a City employee for service with the State
be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clark be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 11 day of January
1979.
