A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of. Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et sea. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement
to wit:
That portion of an existing public utility easement
located in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, acquired by deed recorded
September 19, 1956 in Book 8378, page 160, Official
Records of said Orange County, described as follows:
The westerly 2.5 feet of the easterly 5 feet of Lot
37 in Tract No. 6375, as shown on a map recorded in
Book 233, pages 31 and 32, Miscellaneous Maps, rec-
ords of said Orange County; and
WHEREAS, on the 9th day of January, 1979, a public hear-
ing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concern-
ing said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this th -y o January, 1979.
