A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
:HE the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Rasements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et sea. Government
Cod) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly
Posted and Published, rive notice of its intention to abandon
the following described public service easement (hereinafter
"Easement"), to wit:
The South 75 feet of the North 235 feet of the East
260 feat of the North one-half of the Northeast
one-cuarter of the Southeast one-nuarter of the
Sou one-quarter of Section 2, Township 4 South,
Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian; and
IT'iEREAS, on the 9th day of January, 1979, a public
hearing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence
concerninr" said pronosed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is
unnecessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BF IT aLsoLT2D that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and
abandonment of said Ease'aent.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certifid
copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the
seal of the City of Anaheim to be recori ed. in the Office of
the County Recorder of Orane County, California.
Ti E FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day of
January, 1979.
