1979-020RESOLUTION NO. 79R- 20
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR PAYMENT OF CERTAIN FUNDS
FROM THE COUNTY FOR COMPLETION OF PHASE III
OF PERALTA CANYON PARK.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has received certain
funds from the State of California from the 1976 Nejedly -Hart
Urban and Coastal Bond Act; and
WHEREAS, the County has elected to share these funds
with the cities of Orange County which have eligible projects;
and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has offered to pay
$110,000 to the City of Anaheim for this project; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City to
accept said funds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the agreement this day submitted
from the County of Orange to pay $110,000 to the City for the
improvements to Phase III Peralta Canyon Park be and the same
is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk
be, and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement
on behalf of the'City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 9th day of
January, 1979.
