A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE
GENERAL PLAN DESIGNATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 151,
EXHIBIT "A" FOR AREA I; EXHIBIT "A" FOR
AREA II, AND EXHIBIT "A" FOR AREA III.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of
Anaheim, has heretofore adopted a General Plan for the City
of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of June, 1979, the City
Planning Commission did hold a public hearing to consider
a General Plan Amendment to the Circulation Element to
change the designation of the following proposed or exist-
ing highways:
AREA I
Via Cortez between Santa Ana Canyon Road and
the Riverside Freeway (local street to
secondary arterial highway).
AREA II
Freedman Way between Harbor Boulevard and
Manchester Avenue (collector street to
secondary arterial highway).
AREA III
Clementine Street between Freedman Way and
Katella Avenue (collector street to secondary
arterial highway).
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC79 -123 contain-
ing a report of its findings, a summary of the evidence
presented at said hearing and a recommendation that said
Amendment to the General Plan designated as Amendment No. 151
be approved by the City Council changing the Circulation
Element designation for the above described highway; and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 31st day of
July, 1979, as the time, and the City Council Chambers as the
place for a public hearing on said proposed Amendment No. 151
and did give notice thereof in the manner and as provided by
law; and

WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine
that Amendment No. 151, changing the Circulation Element
designation of the areas aforedescribed, should be approved
in accordance with Exhibit "A" for Area I; Exhibit "A" for
Area II; and Exhibit "A" for Area III.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 151 to the General
Plan changing the Circulation Element designation for the
aforedescribed areas be, and the same is hereby, approved in
accordance with Exhibit "A" for Area I; Exhibit "A" for Area
II; and Exhibit "A" for Area III, all in accordance with
Exhibits which are on file with the City Planning Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Planning
Department be, and the same is hereby, instructed to amend
the General Plan Map, and said text to conform to General
Plan Amendment No. 151 as herein adopted and approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 31st day of
July, 1979.
