1979-438WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is in need of a service
agent to supervise and administer its program of self- insurance
for its liability to its employees pursuant to the Workers'
Compensation Laws of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, R. L. Kautz Co., a Division of Pinehurst
Corp., is qualified to render such supervision and administration
services for the City's Workers' Compensation self- insurance pro-
gram and desires to be employed for such purpose pursuant to this
agreement; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City Council of the
City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
that it would be in the best interests of the City to enter into
said agreement with R. L. Kautz Co., a Division of Pinehurst
Corp., and that the same should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement
employing R. L. Kautz Co., a Division of Pinehurst Corp., to
perform services in connection with the supervision and adminis-
tration of the City's Workers' Co oensation self- insurance pro-
gram be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the ''iayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized and directed to execute said agree-
ment for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 31st day of July, 1979.
