A RESOLUTION OF TFIE CITY COUNCli, OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seo. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement
to wit:
That certain public utility easement for the installa-
tion and maintenance of underground electrical conduit
and related electrical facilities being a strip of land
10 feet wide, as described in deed recorded October 24,
1975 in Book 11548, pages 1771 and 1772, records of
Orange County, California, described as follows:
A public utility easement for the installation and main-
tenance of underground electrical conduit and related
electrical facilities, as shown on a map attached hereto
and made a part hereof, under and across a strip of land
10 feet wide lying within a portion of Parcel 5 and 6,
as shown on a map filed in Book 59, page 27, Parcel Yaps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said Orange
County; and
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of July, 1979, a public hearin
was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concerning
said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of this Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County Re-
corder of Orange County, California.
