A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT WITH HERMAN KIMMEL AND ASSOCI-
ATES FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES IN CONNECTION
WITH A TRAFFIC STUDY OF THE RIVERSIDE FREEWAY,
AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to obtain profes-
sional services for a study to review, investigate and analyze
what effects, if any, ramp metering on the Riverside Freeway will
have on surface street traffic; and
WHEREAS, Herman Kimmel and Associates "Consultant is
qualified to render such professional services to City and desires
to be employed for such purposes; and
WHEREAS, Consultant has submitted a proposal to render
said professional services; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms and
conditions of which are satisfactory to the City Council of the
City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement
with Herman Kimmel and Associates for professional consulting ser-
vices in connection with a traffic study of the effect of the
Riverside Freeway be, and they are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized to execute said agreement on be-
half of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 10th day •f July, 1979.
