A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT TO BE
ENTERED INTO WITH VARIOUS AGENCIES IN CONNEC-
TION WITH OUT- STATIONED CETA PARTICIPANTS AND
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENTS WITH APPROPRIATE
AGENCIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim receives funds
authorized under and subject to the provisions of the
Comprehensive Employment and Training Act Amendments of
1978, (P.L. 95 -524, 92 Stat. 1909); and
WHEREAS, various Titles thereunder provide for
the employment of residents of the City of Anaheim who
meet specific eligibility requirements; and
WHEREAS, various Titles of said Act authorize the
City to employ persons qualifying, who can be assigned to
other public agencies or quasi public agencies as work
locations; and
WHEREAS, various agencies have expressed a desire
to use the services of one or more employees employed in
the above manner; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to employ one
or more persons for the aforesaid purposes; and
WHEREAS, an Agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are acceptable to the City Council
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the terms and
conditions of said Agreement are hereby approved and accepted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be,
and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim with appropriate
agencies providing work sites for out- stationed CETA
participants.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City. Council of the City of Anaheim this 3r- of July, 1979.
