A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEI M APPROVING AN APPLICATION TO THE
COUNTY OF ORANGE FOR REVENUE SHARING FUNDS
FOR EXPANSION OF SERVICES OF THE SENIOR

CITIZENS' DAY CENTER AND AUTHORIZING 1_�is
CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE SAID APPLICATION ON
BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheird desires to expand the ser-
vices of the Senior Citizens' Day Center by increasing staff hours
to permit operation of the Day Center on a five (5) days per week
basis; and
WHEREAS, Revenue Sharing Funds are available through the
County of Orange to partly fund said increased operation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to make application
for a grant of such funds in the amount of $28,159.68; and
WHEREAS, under the terms of such grant, the City of
Anaheim would be required to contribute matching funds of j ;7,039.92
as well as a soft match contribution of services.
THRREF R BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby approve the filing of an applica-
tion with the County of Orange for revenue Sharing Funds as herein
above set forth.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Tanager of the City
of Anaheim, or his designated representative, be, and he is hereby,
authorized and directed to execute and file said application and
all documents relating thereto.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUa:ION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 26th day June, 1979.
