1979-358WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to provide a Labor
Market Orientation and Career Education Component for the enrollees
of the Summer Youth Employment Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim requires the services of an
agency with special knowledge and experience in the field of Labor
Market Orientation and Career Education; and
WHEREAS, the North Orange County Regional Occupational
Program is willing to furnish a site, such specialized personnel
and material as is reouired to provide Labor I =arket Orientation
and Career Education; and
WHEREAS, the North Orange County Regional Occupational
Program has submitted to the City a form of Agreement providing
for the furnishing of a site, specialized personnel and material
required to provide said Labor .Market Orientation and Career
Education; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it would be for the
benefit and in the best interests of the City to approve the pro-
posed Agreement between the City of Anaheim and the North Orange
County Regional Occupational Program and that the same should be
approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that said Agreement this day submitted to the
City Council to be made and entered into between the City of
Anaheim and the North Orange County Regional Occupational Program
providing for furnishing of a site, specialized personnel and
material reauired to provide Labor :Market Orientation and Career
Education upon the terms and conditions and for the compensation
set forth in said Agreement be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk be,
and they are hereby, authorized to execute said Agreement for and
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
