ation Commission ("OCTC") adopted a five- ,'ea-0 iransoortation
Improvement Program "TIP which represents its Priority projects
to be funded by the new California ransnortation Commission "CTC
and
WHEREAS, the OCTC-LIP was incorporated in the Regional
_z ansportation Improvement Prograrn. by SCAG on April 5, 1979, and
transmitted to the CTC and California :epartment of Transportation
"Caltrans and
WHEREAS, Caltrans also proposed its five -year '::'IP; and
WHEREAS, there is a great difference betT C'altrans'
priorities for major projects and the OCTC oronosalss; and
WHEREAS, the CTC has the final decision and will select
one of the proposed programs or a combination of the two; and
WrEFEAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim desires
to express su000rt for the OCTC proposals.
_SOW, THEREFORE, BE IT IESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that it supports the Orange County `'ranspor.tation
Commission's Transportation Improvement Program.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the California Lransoortation
Commission is hereby requested to select and adopt said oransporta-
tion Improvement Program of the Oran.-:e County 'ransoortation
Commission.
