A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION BY THE
GENERAL MANAGER OF THE ANAHEIM CONVENTION
CENTER OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE CALIFORNIA
ILK PRODUCERS ADVISORY BOARD FOR ADVERTISING
ON STRUCTURES AT THE ANAHEI`'I CONVENTION CENTER.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim orerates a Convention
Center Arena Complex which constitutes a convention and recrea-
tion center for exhibitions, conventions, sportinP events and
other public events for the benefit of the City of Anaheim and
its inhabitants; and
WHEREAS, a Theme Nbwer and other advertising° structures
have been erected at said Convention Center in order to provide
information to the outside public and to those in attendance at
events in said Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to remit the
California :Milk Producers Advisory Board the right to display
sponsorship signs and messages on said `heme "Lower, information
boards and related information structures; and
WE'LREAS, an agreement has been prepared whereby the
California hilk Producers Advisory Board will be permitted to
display such sponsorship signs and messaes at the Anaheim
Convention Center; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of said agreement are
acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheir; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it vwould be for
the benefit and in the best interests of the City to delegate
authority to the General Manager of the Anaheim Convention Center
to approve, enter into and execute said agreement on behalf of the
City of Anaheim.
OW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED that the terms and condi-
tions of said areement are hereby •a_proved and accepted.
IT FURTHER T-
BE T 1 U� HER RESOLVED by the City Council of the city
of Anaheim that the General Manager of the Anaheim Convention
Center be, and he is hereby, authorized to enter into and execute
said agreement with the California %:ilk Producers Advisory Board
for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
