1979-330WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
received a Community Development Block Grant from the United
States government; and
WHEREAS, the City is desirous of establishing a
Deferred Payment Loan Program pursuant to the Block Grant
received from the federal government; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to administer the Deferred
Payment Loan Program; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department has the
necessary skill and expertise to administer the Deferred Payment
Loan Program for the City; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirous to authorize the
Community Development Director to approve loans for and on behalf
of the City in connection with the Deferred Payment Loan Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does hereby authorize the Community
Development Block Grant Deferred Payment Loan Program.
BE IT FURTTER RESOLVED that the Community Development
Director or his designee is hereby delegated the authority to
approve said loans for and on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 12thday of June, 1979.
