1979-326WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency is
charged with the redevelopment of Redevelopment Project
Alpha; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency is
performing a public function of the City in causing the
elimination of blight from said Project area; and
WHEREAS, the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency is
authorized to borrow monies for public entities for
redevelopment purposes; and
WHEREAS, an agreement, entitled "Loan Agreement"
(hereinafter "Agreement has been prepared whereby the City
does loan and the Anaheim Redevelopment Agency does borrow
X3,000,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the terms and conditions of Agreement
are acceptable to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Niayor and
City Clerk be, and they are hereby authorized and directed
to execute said Agreement on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of
June, 1979.
