A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE ESTABLISHMENT
OF A PORTION OF LA PALMA AVENUE AS A COUNTY
HIGHWAY FOR PURPOSES OF IMPROVEMENT.
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has heretofore
adopted its Resolution No. 79R -626 declaring that portion
of La Palma Avenue from 3,000 feet easterly_of Imperial
Highway to the Anaheim City. Limits to be a County Highway
during the period of improvement of said road by the County
of Orange; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to evidence
its consent thereto pursuant to the provisions of Section
1701 of the Streets and Highways Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that pursuant to the provisions of
Section 1701, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets
and Highways. Code, the City of Anaheim does hereby consent
to the action by the County of Orange declaring all of that
portion of La Palma Avenue from 3,000 feet .easterly of
Imperial Highway to the Anaheim City Limits to be a County
Highway during the period of improvement of said road by the
County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 5th day of
June, 1979.
