1979-310WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has heretofore entered
into an Agreement retaining the services of the law firm of
Spiegel McDiarmid on June 12, 1973; and
WHEREAS, due to continuing increases in the costs
of operating its office, Spiegel McDiarmid have requested
an increase in their fees for legal services; and
WHEREAS, a Second Amendment to Agreement has been
prepared, the terms and conditions of which are satisfactory
to the City Council of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of a
Second Amendment to Agreement between the City of Anaheim and
Spiegel McDiarmid be, and they are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Utilities
General Manager is hereby authorized to execute said Amendment
on behalf of the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th day of May, 1979.
