RESOLUTION NO. 79R -301
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM SUPPORTING SENATE BILL 200,
AS AMENDED MAY 7, 1979, REQUIRING PROMPT
CONSTRUCTION OF THE PERIPHERAL CANAL AND
RELATED DELTA FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, by its Resolution
No. 79R -262, supported legislation requiring prompt
construction of the Peripheral Canal and related Delta
Facilities; and
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 200, as amended May 7, 1979,
would direct construction of the Peripheral Canal and related
facilities in the Delta as soon as possible; and
WHEREAS, Senate Bill 200 will be heard by the Senate
Finance Committee on June 4, 1979.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that it does strongly support Senate
Bill 200, as amended May 7, 1979, and reaffirms its support
of said legislation, requiring prompt construction of the
Peripheral Canal and related Delta Facilities.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 29th day of May,
1979.
