ing the Anaheim Stadium by the addition of approximately 27,000
additional seats; and

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF ANAHEIM AND AMERICAN INFORIMIATION
CORPORATION FOR AN EXCLUSIVE SALES REPRESENT-
ATIVE FOR THE NEW SCOREBOARD AT THE ANAHEIM
STADIUM, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY
CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT FOR AND ON BE-
HALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM.
WHEREAS, as a result, the City is in need of a new score-
WHEREAS, the City is in need of an exclusive sales repre-
sentative for the sale of display advertising on the scoreboard,
in the Stadium and its environs to finance the costs of the new
scoreboard; and
WHEREAS, American Information Corporation is qualified
to act as an exclusive sales representative for the sale of adver-
tising at the Stadium as aforedescribed; and
WHEREAS, an agreement this date has been presnted to the
City, the terms and conditions of which are satisfactory; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interests of the City to enter
into said agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an agreement be-
tween the City of Anaheim and American Information Corporation for
exclusive sales representative for the new scoreboard at the Anaheim
Stadium be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City Clerk are
authorized to execute said agreement for the City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 22 d day o May, 1979.
