1979-289WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is the owner of
certain real property located within the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, generally located
northerly of the Santa Ana River and southerly of La Palma
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Water District of Orange
County (hereinafter "District has heretofore filed an
action in eminent domain against the City to acquire a
substantial portion of said property; and
WHEREAS, as a result of negotiations for the
acquisition of said property, the District desires to acquire
said parcel in its entirety; and
WHEREAS, an agreement has been prepared, the terms
and conditions of which are satisfactory to the City of
Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of an
agreement between the City of Anaheim and the Municipal
Water District of Orange County be, and the same are hereby,
approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and City
Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to
execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of
Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted
by the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 22nd day of
May, 1979.
