RESOLUTION NO. 79R 283
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM CONSENTING TO THE
ESTABLISHMENT OF PORTION OF TUSTIN AVENUE
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF ANAHEIM AS A
COUNTY HIGHWAY FOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of Orange County,
California, by Resolution No. 79 -509 dated April 17, 1979, have
declared a portion of Tustin Avenue across the Santa Ana River
and within the City limits of Anaheim to be a highway of
Countywide importance; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has resolved, pursuant
to Section 1700 of the Streets and Highway Code of the State of
California, to improve said Tustin Avenue; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Anaheim to
consent to the establishment of such portion of Tustin Avenue
as a County Highway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Anaheim that, pursuant to Section 1701 of the
Streets and Highway Code of the State of California, the City
of Anaheim does consent to the establishment of a portion of
Tustin Avenue to become a County Highway for improvement purposes.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 15th day of May, 1979.
