WHEREAS, the People for Community Development Committee
has requested the use of
T Pal Park to conduct a "Ci nco de _=ayo"
Palma
Fiesta, and also has requested the City of Anaheim's financial
assistance in promoting this community event; and
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim is desirous of assisting the
Committee in certain aspects of the Promotion of this community
activity; and
^'HRFIAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim finds
and determines that such financial assistance is to be used for
the purpose of community promotion; and
WHEREAS, an agreement between the Parties to effectuate
this purpose has this date been subiritted, the terms and conditions
of which are satisfactory to the City.
T01!, THEREFOR, '111' IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that the terms and conditions of that certain agree-
ment between the City of Anaheim and the People for Community
Development Committee be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER "ESOLV=D that the ?I.ayor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the
City of Anaheim.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION'I is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 1st day of
May, 1979.
