A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM SUPPORTING ASSEMBLY BILL 1163 AND
URGING ALL CITIES III? THE COUNTY OF ORANGE TO
SUPPORT THIS LEGISLATION.
WHEREAS, Assemblywoman Leona H. Egeland has introduced
Assembly Bill 1163 which grants a five percent (5) tax credit for
qualified investments in distressed areas; and
WHEREAS, this legislation will aid in the elimination
of blight and urban decay in the State of California; and
WHEREAS, AB 1163 will be heard by the Assembly Revenue
and Taxation Committee on April 30, 1979; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
strongly support AB 1163.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that it does support and strongly urges all
cities of the County of Orange to support Assembly Bill 1163.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk send copies
of this resolution to all cities in the County of Orange.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 24th day of April, 1979
