1979-668WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim has entered into an agree-
ment with Inner -Lock, Inc., to provide emergency crisis counseling
services and telephone hotline services to Orange County rape
victims through the Help Eliminate Rape Everywhere H.E.R.E.) Rape
Crisis Clinic Program; and
WHEREAS, on October 11, 1979, the City was notified by
the Orange County Criminal Justice Council that federal funds are
available to provide additional funding for the H.E.R.E. Rape
Crisis Clinic through July 31, 1980.
WHEREAS, the Grant, as now received, requires a total
match of $637, $500 of which has been approved previously as part
of the 1979 -80 Resources Allocation Plan; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that the City of Anaheim accept $12,095 from
the State Office of Criminal Justice Planning to fund the Help
Eliminate Rape Everywhere Rape Crisis Clinic.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he
is hereby, authorized to execute a grant extension through July
31, 1980.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th day of November, 1979.
