A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ACCEPTING GRANT FUNDS FROM
THE OFFICE OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE PLANNING TO
UNDERTAKE A JAIL VIDEO MONITORING SYSTEM
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to undertake
a certain project designated "Jail Video- Monitoring System"
to be funded in part from funds made available through the
Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, PL 90 -351,
as amended, (hereafter referred to as the Crime Control Act)
administered by the Office of Criminal Justice Planning
(hereafter referred to as OCJP); and
WHEREAS, the City has heretofore submitted an
application to OCJP for funds to undertake said project; and
WHEREAS, OCJP has heretofore a grant award to the
City of Anaheim for purposes of said project in the amount
of $11,400.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council
of the City of Anaheim does hereby accept said grant award
from OCJP for the purposes of undertaking a Jail Video
Monitoring System Project in accordance with the terms and
conditions of said award.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this 13th dayof
November, 1979.
