A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
OF AN AGREEMENT FOR THE ACQUISITION OF REAL
PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE SAID AGREEMENT
ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ANAHEIM
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim desires to purchase certain
real property, to wit:
That portion of Olive Street 40.00 feet wide in the City of Anaheim,
County of Orange, State of California, as shown on a map of Schaffer
Oswald subdivision recorded in Book 7 Page 21 of Miscellaneous Maps,
in the office of the County Recorder of said County bounded on the
North and South by the Easterly prolongations of the North and South
lines of Lot 3 of said subdivision, as said Olive Street was abandoned
by Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of Anaheim, a
certified copy of said Resolution was recorded in Book 1029, Page 498
of official records of said Orange County.
WHEREAS, the owner of said property is willing to sell
said property to the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, an agreement for the acquisition of said prop-
erty has been prepared, the terms and conditions of which are accept-
able to the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby approve and accept the terms and
conditions of said Agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mavor and City Clerk are
hereby authorized and directed to execute said Agreement on behalf
of the City of Anaheim.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Anaheim does hereby accept the grant deed to said real property.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th day of November, 1979.
