A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIE CITY
OF ANAHEIM ORDERINGG THE VACATION AND ABANDON-
MENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim has
elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the Public
Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et seq. Government
Code) in connection with the vacation and abandonment of public
service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly posted
and published, give notice of its intention to abandon the follow-
ing described public service easement (hereinafter "Easement
to wit:
A drainage easement, 10 feet wide, over, under
and across a portion of Lot 5 of the J. D. Taylor
Tract in the City of Anaheim, County of Orange,
State of California, as per map recorded in Book
5, Page 16, of Miscellaneous Maps, in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County, described
as follows:
Commencing at a point on the Northerly line of Lot
5 being North 61 27' 05" East, 70.48 feet Easterly
of the Northwest corner of said Lot 5; thence South
17 25' 06" East, 197.96 feet, to a point on the
North line of Parcel 2, per State Highway Relin-
quishment Map No. 637, Book 6, Page 26, Records of
Orange County; thence along said line North 72° 34'
54" East 10 feet; thence North 17 25' 06" West,
199.93 feet; thence South 61 27' 05" West along
aforementioned Northerly line of Lot 5, 10.19 feet
to the point of beginning; and
WHEREAS, on the 30th day of October, 1979, a public hear-
ing was held to allow interested persons to submit evidence concern-
ing said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does
find from the evidence submitted to it, that said Easement is un-
necessary for present or prospective public use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation and abandonment
of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be, and
she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certified copy
of the Resolution and Order, attested by her under the seal of
the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the Office of the County
Recorder of Orange County, California.

THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 30th day October, 1979.
