90-043 RESOLUTION NO. 90R-43
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE LAND
USE ELEMENT OF THE ANAHEIM GENERAL PLAN DESIG-
NATED AS AMENDMENT NO. 280, EXHIBIT "A."
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim, pursuant to the
recommendations of the Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim,
adopted a General Plan for the City of Anaheim; and
WHEREAS, on the 18th day of December, 1989, the City
Planning Commission of the City of Anaheim did hold a public
hearing to consider a General Plan Amendment. The General Plan
Amendment does consider changing the land use designation for the
area of land consisting of approximately 12 acres generally
bounded by Iris Street to THE EAST, THE Santa Ana Freeway to the
west, Winston Road to the south and extending north approximately
218 feet from the centerline of Winston Road. Also including
those 19 properties located on the south side of Winston Road
between Iris Street to the east and the Santa Ana Freeway to the
west, and further including those 6 properties located on the west
side of Palm Street beginning approximately 155 feet south of the
centerline of Winston Road and extending north approximately 390
feet; and
WHEREAS, at said public hearing, the City Planning
Commission did duly adopt its Resolution No. PC89-529 containing a
report of its findings, a summary of the evidence presented at
sa~d hearing, and recommending that said Amendment to the General
Plan designated as Amendment No. 280 be adopted by the City
Council changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed
area to "Low Density Residential" in accordance with Exhibit "A";
and
WHEREAS, upon receipt of said Resolution, summary of
evidence, report of findings and recommendations of the City
Planning Commission, the City Council did fix the 6th day of
February, 1990, as the time, and the City Council Chamber in the
Civic Center as the place for a public hearing on said proposed
Amendment No. 280 and did give notice thereof in the manner and as
provided by law; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did duly hold and conduct such
public hearing and did give all persons interested therein an
opportunity to be heard, and did receive evidence and reports and
did consider the recommendations of the City Planning Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council does find and determine that
Amendment No. 280 changing the land use designation in the
aforedescribed area in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file with
the City should be approved.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Anaheim that Amendment No. 280 to the General Plan
changing the land use designation for the aforedescribed area to
"Low Density Residential" in accordance with Exhibit "A" on file
with the City be, and the same is hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Department be,
and it is hereby, instructed to amend the General Plan Map to
conform to General Plan Amendment No. 280 as herein adopted and
approved.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 6th day of February, 1990.
