A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ANAHEIM ORDERING THE VACATION AND
ABANDONMENT OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC SERVICE
EASEMENT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
has elected to proceed pursuant to the provisions of the
Public Services Easements Vacation Law (Section 50430 et
seq. Government Code) in connection with the vacation and
abandonment of public service easements; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did, by resolution duly
posted and published, give notice of its intention to
abandon the following described public service easement
(hereinafter "Easement to wit:
That certain easement for slope purposes
beginning at the southeast corner of the
land described in deed recorded October 1,
1964 in Book 7242, page 17, Official
Records of Orange County; thence S 47 56'
54" W, 59.75 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence continuing S 47 56' 54"
W, 45.00 feet; thence N 30 38' 19" W,
397.45 feet; thence S 37° 06' 56" E, 391.05
feet to the true point of beginning.
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of October, 1979, a
public hearing was held to allow interested persons to sub-
mit evidence concerning said proposed abandonment; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim
does find from the evidence submitted to it, that said
Easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public
use.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City
Council of the City of Anaheim does hereby order the vacation
and abandonment of said Easement.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be,
and she is hereby, authorized and directed to cause a certi-
fied copy of this Resolution and Order, attested by her
under the seal of the City of Anaheim to be recorded in the
Office of the County Recorder of Orange County, California.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by
the City Council of the City of Anaheim this rd day of
October, 1979.
