A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ANAHEIM DESIGNATING PORTIONS OF A CERTAIN
OFF- STREET PARKING FACILITY AS PERMIT PARKING
ONLY.
WHEREAS, the City of Anaheim owns and /or maintains that
certain off street parking facility located northerly of the east
west alley north of Lincoln Avenue, westerly of Philadelphia Street,
southerly of the Anaheim Senior Citizens' Center, and easterly of
the Village Center Apartments (hereinafter "parking facility
and
WHEREAS, Section 14.32.178 of the Anaheim Municipal Code
authorizes the City to designate certain portions of said parking
facility as permit parking areas only.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim as follows:
SECTION 1. That those certain thirty -nine (39) off street
spaces on said parking facility as indicated in yellow on Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference are
hereby designated as parking by yellow- colored permit only. Said
permits shall be issued without charge to patrons of the Anaheim
Senior Citizens' Center by the Parks, Recreation and Community
Services Department of the City of Anaheim.
SECTION 2. That those certain ten (10) off street parking
spaces on said parking facility as indicated in green on Exhibit "A"
attached hereto are designated as parking by green colored permit
only. Said permits shall be issued at a cost of Six Dollars ($6.00)
per month to occupants of the Village Center Apartments by the
Community Development Department of the City of Anaheim. Not more
than ten of said permits shall be outstanding and in effect at any
given time.
SECTION 3. That the above provisions of this resolution
shall become effective upon the posting of signs and /or distinctive
marking of spaces giving notice of said restrictions as specified
in Section 14.32.178 of the Anaheim Municipal Code.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the
City Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of October, 1979.
