A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ANAHEIM AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 75R -565 PERSONNEL
RULE 5, HOURS OF WORK AND PAY DAY.
WHEREAS, the City Management Representative has met and con-
ferred with officials and employee representatives of the Anaheim Fire
Association, and
WHEREAS, as a result thereof, the need exists to amend Resolu-
tion No. 75R -565, Personnel Rule 5, which established hours of work
and pay day, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Anaheim does find that
adoption of the recommended new provision is in the best interests
of the City of Anaheim.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Anaheim that Resolution No.75R -565, Personnel Rule 5, Hours
of Work and Pay Day be amended by adding the following provision:

5.12 An employee with an average regular work week of
56 hours shall be eligible for 112 hours biweekly
pay when the employee is at work or on paid leave
for all regularly scheduled work shifts during the
pay period. Such employees on leave without pay
shall have 24 hours pay deducted from the 112 hours
biweekly pay for each work shift not worked during
a pay period. Such employees appointed other than
at the beginning of a pay period, or separated other
than at the end of a pay period shall be paid for
actual hours worked or a maximum of 112 hours, which-
ever is less.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that except to the extent amended, Reso-
lution No. 75R -565 shall remain in full force and effect.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this resolu-
tion shall be October 26, 1979.
THE FOREGOING RESOLUTION is approved and adopted by the City
Council of the City of Anaheim this 23rd day of
October 1979.
